In Taiwan students are often looking for jobs via old-style Bulletin Board Systems (BBS). This somewhat informal tool is very popular and often very fast and efficient.

Since most of the rest of the world has not used these BBS/Telnet systems for a decade or so, often one will need a recent graduate to navigate the system in Chinese.
