The Ministry of Education has established a certification system for Chinese-English translators and interpreters. The first examinations were to be held in December 2007. The Translation & Attestation Association of Taipei does offer attestations as well and publish the contact information of translators having passed their exam on their website. Various Universities do offer Translation and Interpretation studies and one would expect their graduate students to be qualified translators. |
